Please pray for us

I finally heard back and the numbers made my stomach sink.

And I was feeling at peace with everything...

Until I heard my numbers:
Hcg:250
Progesterone:6.2

Please pleas pray...that peaceful feeling has been replaced with fear and anxiety.

:(

*He prescribed progesterone suppositories and then is having me redo my labs thur.

  1. I will be praying! The hcg # could be normal. It may be earlier in the pregnancy than you thought. Is your dr going to put you on progesterone?

  2. I'm praying. Are you taking progesterone? PIO shots? If not, you should try to get on them ASAP. My progesterone was low like that and the shots did the trick. I'd say don't worry, but I've been there and it's impossible not to stress, I know. Praying you have peace and your little one keeps growing.

  6. Are you working with a NaPro doctor? (just wondering why not shots vs. the suppositories you were given)

I'm praying hard for you and the baby.

  7. I'm pretty sure if you call PPVI Dr. H will put you on shots. He did that with a friend of mine who wasn't previously a patient of his. I'd call there if you're comfortable with doing that. Most of us worked with another OB and had a separate NaPro dr prescribe us shots. They're usually good about it. Suppositories are good in the meantime.

  17. I wish I could offer some words of comfort. I can understand how anxious you must be feeling. Praying for you! Mother Mary, please please intercede for this beautiful baby. I would suggest calling PPVI tmrw morning if possible. They will prescribe the shots.

  18. Praying! Both numbers could be just fine. Try not to freak out too much. Easier said than done, I know. I would say get on the shots...they are much, much stronger than the suppositories and will raise your progesterone levels much higher than the suppositories (I've done both).

  19. As of the other day, you are pregnant. Enjoy this moment and try your best to not let fear take away your joy. I'm praying for you!

One of my favorite prayers is St. Faustina's Prayer for healing. It helped me a lot when I was incredibly anxious about being pregnant and having a body that doesn't work right (most of the time). It is perfert for us PCOS gals: "Jesus, may Your pure and healthy blood circulate in my ailing organism, and may Your pure and healthy body transform my weak body, and may a healthy and vigorous life throb within me, if it is truly Your holy will." (Diary 1089)

  20. As many here say it might just be very early. As a practitioner I have seen miracles with the PIO shots in cases where the progesterone was bad all the time. If you can call PPVI it cannot hurt.

Praying to the Sacred Hearth in his month. Sacred Heart of Jesus in you I trust!

  21. Praying!!! Can you have the test redone tomorrow - wouldn't that be the 48 hours that they typically need? HCG #'s should double approximately every 48 hours at this stage. Praying, praying, praying....hang in there sweet thing and Grow, BABY, GROW!

  22. Praying too!! I am going to ditto those who are saying the HCG could be normal and the progesterone shots will likely give you additional peace of mind vs. the suppositories. (I say this, but I was on suppositories only for my first tri and all was fine... however, the PIO are definitely the strongest form).

  23. I just saw that you got a BFP!!! I'm so happy for you and will be praying and praying that your little miracle is safe and growing strong!! I don't comment often but I keep up with your blog regularly and have been praying that you will be blessed with a child. I'm just so happy for you!! :)

  24. Praying for you! A one time hcg number doesn't mean much beyond just proving you're pregnant. The low progesterone is being treated. You are giving this baby the best possible chance, so do your best to just relax and be happy!
