I finally heard back and the numbers made my stomach sink.
And I was feeling at peace with everything...
Until I heard my numbers:
Hcg:250
Progesterone:6.2
Please pleas pray...that peaceful feeling has been replaced with fear and anxiety.
:(
*He prescribed progesterone suppositories and then is having me redo my labs thur.

I will be praying! The hcg # could be normal. It may be earlier in the pregnancy than you thought. Is your dr going to put you on progesterone?
ReplyDeleteI'm praying. Are you taking progesterone? PIO shots? If not, you should try to get on them ASAP. My progesterone was low like that and the shots did the trick. I'd say don't worry, but I've been there and it's impossible not to stress, I know. Praying you have peace and your little one keeps growing.
ReplyDeleteHe prescribed progesterone suppositories and I'll redo my blood work on Thur.
ReplyDeletePraying, praying, praying!

ReplyDeletePraying!!! And ditto what Karey said. With A my hCG was 44 at 14dpo (I didn't have prog tested). PRAYING!!!1
ReplyDeleteAre you working with a NaPro doctor? (just wondering why not shots vs. the suppositories you were given)
ReplyDeleteI'm praying hard for you and the baby.
Praying!!!!
ReplyDeletepraying!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure if you call PPVI Dr. H will put you on shots. He did that with a friend of mine who wasn't previously a patient of his. I'd call there if you're comfortable with doing that. Most of us worked with another OB and had a separate NaPro dr prescribe us shots. They're usually good about it. Suppositories are good in the meantime.
ReplyDeleteSuppositories are fantastic! I will never do injections again.....hcg could be totally normal! Praying, keep your head up!!!
ReplyDeleteAgree with the gals! My HCG was just 102 on my first blood draw. Praying, praying, praying, praying. Grow little baby grow!
ReplyDeleteI am praying. I am new to your blog but have had the exact things happen to me. I think we are all precious in God's eyes and He must help us, He will. I am so happy for your news!
ReplyDeletePraying...my progesterone was 8 at 17dpo with my last pregnancy. He's sitting in my arms right now.
ReplyDeleteSt Gerard, pray for us!
dittoing the hcg numbers being in a 'normal' range...but i totally know how hard it is not to worry. let us do the praying and try to just rest on that! the lord has a plan for this baby!!
ReplyDeletePraying for you and your little one!
ReplyDeletePraying away over here!!!
ReplyDeletePraying!
ReplyDeletePraying for you and your baby! And P.S. I had to google what good numbers were (since I had not a clue) and I think you'll be fine! Big hugs!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to let you know that when I had my first blood draw my hCG was 122 and my progesterone was 8.2 and just yesterday I had my first u/s and everything looked perfect. Please don't be discouraged!!
ReplyDeletePraying!!!! (and so glad to see all these encouraging comments regarding HCG #s, I'm sure they are giving you some sense of peace)
ReplyDeleteI wish I could offer some words of comfort. I can understand how anxious you must be feeling. Praying for you! Mother Mary, please please intercede for this beautiful baby. I would suggest calling PPVI tmrw morning if possible. They will prescribe the shots.
ReplyDeletePraying! Both numbers could be just fine. Try not to freak out too much. Easier said than done, I know. I would say get on the shots...they are much, much stronger than the suppositories and will raise your progesterone levels much higher than the suppositories (I've done both).
ReplyDeleteAs of the other day, you are pregnant. Enjoy this moment and try your best to not let fear take away your joy. I'm praying for you!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite prayers is St. Faustina's Prayer for healing. It helped me a lot when I was incredibly anxious about being pregnant and having a body that doesn't work right (most of the time). It is perfert for us PCOS gals: "Jesus, may Your pure and healthy blood circulate in my ailing organism, and may Your pure and healthy body transform my weak body, and may a healthy and vigorous life throb within me, if it is truly Your holy will." (Diary 1089)
As many here say it might just be very early. As a practitioner I have seen miracles with the PIO shots in cases where the progesterone was bad all the time. If you can call PPVI it cannot hurt.
ReplyDeletePraying to the Sacred Hearth in his month. Sacred Heart of Jesus in you I trust!
Praying!!! Can you have the test redone tomorrow - wouldn't that be the 48 hours that they typically need? HCG #'s should double approximately every 48 hours at this stage. Praying, praying, praying....hang in there sweet thing and Grow, BABY, GROW!
ReplyDeletePraying too!! I am going to ditto those who are saying the HCG could be normal and the progesterone shots will likely give you additional peace of mind vs. the suppositories. (I say this, but I was on suppositories only for my first tri and all was fine... however, the PIO are definitely the strongest form).
ReplyDeletePraying!!!!
ReplyDeletePraying!!!!
ReplyDeleteI just saw that you got a BFP!!! I'm so happy for you and will be praying and praying that your little miracle is safe and growing strong!! I don't comment often but I keep up with your blog regularly and have been praying that you will be blessed with a child. I'm just so happy for you!! :)
ReplyDeletePraying!
ReplyDeletePraying!
ReplyDeletePraying for you! A one time hcg number doesn't mean much beyond just proving you're pregnant. The low progesterone is being treated. You are giving this baby the best possible chance, so do your best to just relax and be happy!
