Did y'all know?

Did y'all know that after DD comes E, then F?!

Well...somehow, my already not small "girls" have gone from DD to F, almost H.

And I'm only 18 weeks!

I may or may not have teared up (hello hormones!!!) when I was getting sized....I didn't think that would happen!

Eek!!!

And the fun part, apparently I'm going to have to special order online because they don't have that size in stores!

Any fun advice regarding how to handle these two basketballs on my chest?! ;)

  1. I actually did know that. Luckily because of friends and not because of me! :)

  2. The ladies in my family have that issue. If you have a Von Maur (dept store) that's the only one in our area that carries a variety of sizes. Good Luck. I sympatize with you.

  3. Oh honey...just wait til your milk comes in. I don't wanna scare you, I just wanna prepare you. It'll get worse before it gets better.

  4. Yeah, Hebrews is right, just wait till your milk comes in! Lol the things women deal with! Although I'm sure your DH doesn't mind ;)

  5. :) You poor girl! So far, I've just had to increase the band width on mine. I have ordered bras from barenecessities.com before. They have a lot more specialized sizes. Good luck!

  6. You don't even want to know what comes after that...

Get a nursing bra instead of a regular bra. They are made to expand a bit more. I love the Leading Lady brand bras-- not too expensive and very comfy. It's easy to size for them with their website instructions. Call/text me if you want more info!

  7. Yes, I knew it!!! And I had to get mine special too. Just wait until you look for nursing bras.. Ones in the maternity stores were no where near big enough and the support was laughable!

  8. OK... it's one thing to joyfully share news about your pregnancy and your little one growing...

But to gloat about your blessed endowment becoming more and more abundant? That's just mean, people!!! Please keep in mind there are some of us in this community still waiting for our boobs to come in. I think I've all but lost hope on mine... :(

  9. Check department stores. With the increase in augmentations stores like Dillards, Kohl's and Macy's often have larger bras. I usually buy an G and have found that department stores have them on the bottom rung.

    Good luck.

  10. Oh damn. You started at a DD....Holy heck!!!!

I will let you know that mine deflated to probably a flat A. LOL Yup. They were nice and big and then after breast feeding a flat A. I don't really know since I was still wearing a D but if I had to guess.... hahahahahahaha

  11. Dang, sorry girl. I'm happy with my now C cup!

Since you may have to special order, can you kill 2 birds with one stone and order them as nursing bras? That way you don't have to buy them again. I've done that and think the nursing bras are comfy. Good luck!

  12. -As for when my milk comes in...a few people told me that if my boobs did their growing now, theres a good chance they wouldn't when my milk comes in...sounds like they were just being nice!!!

-Ladies, thanks for advice as to wear to try and get a good bra...this is a little ridiculous!!!

TCIE, I literally laughed out loud when you said you were "still waiting for your boobs to come in..." haha!!! That's def never been my issue, but to be honest, I'm sort of envious of those women without big ones....the big ones just get in the way and can make the most innocent of dresses look whorish!!! ;)

Sew-thanks for you sympathy!!! ;) How can you laugh in a time like this?!

  13. Hmmm, how ironic, same argument used by mothers of large families. ;P

  14. Hmm...reading my response that does certainly seem like it could go either way...well up to the comment about the innocent dresses looking whorish! ;)

  15. Hi! Totally late to the game on this, sorry. I totally feel your "pain". I had enjoyed a few months back in F/G range but am now back to 34H land.

Hebrews is right, they will get massive when your milk comes in but, at least for me, the hugeness went away after about four days and I just got by with what I had and with going without a bra (I was nursing so much anyway) but with a tight enough shirt to hold a breast pad.

As for bras - check out the Bravado brand. If you go this route it might be wise to get fitted at Dillards or another department store and then order online (either Bravado's site or Bare Necessities) or find a store where they are sold. I say this because most Bravado bras are sold at specialty baby shops where they probably don't have an experienced fitter. Also with the store route, I would suggest calling to see if they carry the size you'll want/need plus the sizes on either side just in case. Bravado were recommended to me by another busty mama and I love them. So much that I am still using them and will soon be ordering new ones.

One other tidbit - I found it impossible to find a "true" nursing tank but instead went with Undercover Mama nursing tanks which ended up being super versatile and handy even after I was done nursing.

Hope this is helpful! Feel free to email me.

PS - SO excited for you!!!!1
